A quick reference for how IP addressing works on FormoHost VPS plans.
IPv4
Every VPS includes at least one dedicated IPv4 address — it is yours for the life of the service and is listed in your welcome email. Plans in some locations include more than one IPv4; the exact count is shown on the plan card in our store.
IPv6
IPv6 is available in many of our locations, but availability varies by region. If IPv6 matters for your workload, open a support ticket before ordering and tell us the location — we will confirm whether IPv6 is available there and how many addresses you can get.
Additional IPv4 addresses
Extra IPv4 can be arranged in some locations. Open a ticket with your service ID and how many addresses you need, and we will confirm availability and monthly pricing for your location before anything is charged.
Reverse DNS (PTR)
We can set custom PTR records for both IPv4 and IPv6 — just open a ticket with the IP and the hostname you want it to resolve to.
A note on IP reputation
All IPs are assigned in line with our Terms of Service. Activities that damage IP reputation (spam, abuse) lead to suspension — this protects every customer sharing the same ranges.
